The Algebra-Decimal Inserts are smooth pieces which snap into the backs of the 10s and 100s Integer Blocks.  They are used:

–  to present decimals

–  to illustrate polynomials

–  to illustrate X, -X, X2

–  to represent units, .1s (1/10s) and .01s (1/100s)

Algebra-Decimal Inserts are used along with the Integer Blocks in Zeta, Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1 Levels to enable students to understand these maths concepts concretely before progressing to abstract application and use. There are 50 pieces in all.
